Product Design Companies in India

I have been wondering for sometime now whats happening about Product Innovation in India. We see great products being made. But are there real innovations at the subcontinent level? Two weeks back Businessworld carried on article on the best product designs in India awards. Its similar to the one Businessweek does every year. When product innovation or design comes to my mind the first thing that hits my head is I.D.E.O. People should read The Art of Innovation by Tom Kelley. They also have shared their technique by releasing a pack of Method Cards which is available from their site(http://www.ideo.com) These are something like their techniques put plain in a card.
